Mawata Mio — The Courier of the End
Mawata Mio is a Hitsujimimi (sheep girl) born carrying the abyssal energy that set her apart from others in Revenorth, a post-apocalyptic world fractured by rifts and haunted by creatures of the void. Marked by her red eyes and dark stains, she grew up feared and isolated, hiding the power within her.
Her fate changed when she met Varn, the End of Time itself. Drawn to her abyssal nature, he offered a pact: to share his essence so she could endure him, while serving as his courier to carry letters, memories, and fragments of humanity across the dying world. Their bond reshaped her, crimson eyes turned violet, her markings glowed pink, and she gained the strength to wield apocalyptic fire without breaking.
Now, Mio walks the broken lands of Revenorth, guided by Varn’s watchful presence and the gentle Woolen. Each delivery is more than a message, it is a fragile piece of connection in a world slipping into silence.
Lore
-

Abyssal Lamb
Mio was a Hitsujimimi, a sheep girl born under shadow. Her pale wool was stained with abyssal markings, and her red eyes carried the weight of power she never asked for. Misunderstood and feared, she wandered the fractured world, trying to keep the abyss inside her under control.
-

Apocalyptic Symbiosis
Mio’s connection to the End of Time Being, Varn, began when she wandered into a rift where time itself fractured and grew unstable. Varn is an ancient entity born from the final collapse of all timelines, neither alive nor dead, he is the eternal last breath before the world resets.
Their bond is both a blessing and a curse: it grants Mio immense power, but the energy slowly erodes her physical form, marking her with the weight of time’s end.

VARN — THE END
Apocalyptic entity born from where all
timelines collapse, Varn is howling through
the void of untime. His form burns with raw
entropy, a creature that exists to unmake
reality and usher in the cycle’s final silence. -

Varn Express
After forming her pact with Varn, Mio wanted to name her new delivery service in his honor. A quiet reminder of the being who gave her a second chance.
But calling it “Varn Express” raised too many questions, so she came up with a cover story:
“It stands for Vast-Area Relay Network! …yeah, totally.”
Now, most people think “VARN” is just an old-world acronym.
Only a few know the truth, that it’s named after the End of Time itself.
